REPRESENTATIVES OF LIEPAJA AIRPORT AT AVIATION FORUM IN SPAIN

Representatives from Liepaja Airport participated in Internation Aviation Forum Routes Europe 2018, which took place in Bilbao, Spain from 22 to 24 of April.  

Route development director of Liepaja Airport Mr. Gatis Ginters, who participated in this large forum, said, that there were representatives from more than 300 airports, 100 airlines and 100 tourism agencies. He seeked for cooperation between Liepaja Airport and different airlines. Also this forum was a base for business contacts between other regional airports, which, the same as Liepaja, are located relatively near to the countries main airport. One of the primary conclusions from the forum is, that very close cooperation between airport and tourism agencies are needed in field of advertising and marketing in order to sell Liepaja Airport services.
